La Clusaz: the lively mountain village
An authentic and lively Savoyard village with a ski area, café terraces and mountain charm.

Seven kilometres from our chalet in Entremont lies La Clusaz, one of the most authentic and lively mountain villages in the French Alps. Unlike many large, artificial ski resorts, La Clusaz has kept its genuine Savoyard character, with a welcoming centre and the mountains right around the corner.
A real mountain village
The heart of La Clusaz revolves around the church and the cobbled streets with their wooden chalets, shops and restaurants. The village is lively without losing its charm — you can feel that people live and work here all year round.
The ski area
La Clusaz is best known for its ski area: over 125 kilometres of pistes spread across five mountain massifs. In winter the village is a lively base for winter sports in the Aravis, with runs for every level.
Summer in La Clusaz
There is plenty to do outside the ski season too. The Tyroo adventure park, hiking routes, mountain-bike trails and the mountain lake Lac des Confins make the village a popular destination in summer as well, for young and old.
Terraces and conviviality
La Clusaz is known for its convivial atmosphere. On the sunny terraces you can taste a Savoyard speciality or a local beer, and in the evening there is more buzz than in the quieter neighbouring villages.
Events and sport
The village has a rich sporting tradition and hosts events all year round, from cycling races and trail runs to music festivals. There is always a festive atmosphere somewhere.
